At Vermilion’s treatment clinic we offer the following levels of care:

- Adolescent substance abuse inpatient treatment for youth, ages 12-17

- Adult substance abuse inpatient treatment
- Detox services for adolescents and adults
- FLAGS Wounded Warrior Program
During their stay at Vermilion, patients are seen routinely by their attending psychiatrist or practitioner and are monitored 24/7 by a qualified nursing staff and behavioral health technicians. All services are provided by a multidisciplinary team of specialty clinical staff, including social workers, counselors, addiction counselors, psychiatrists, psychiatric nurses and nurse practitioners, mental health technicians, recreational therapists, and case managers.
At Vermilion’s mental health treatment clinic in Lafayette, our main therapeutic model is rational emotive behavioral therapy (REBT), which is suited for both acute, short-term length of stay, as well as extended care for military services and the full spectrum of disorders, including mental health and substance abuse. Through our treatment program, patients are able to explore and process issues and challenges, increase insight and understanding of their own mental health concerns, encourage family involvement, and enlist community support to assist them in meeting their treatment goals while in the hospital and beyond.
